Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the MetaMapPro website at metamappro.com or the MetaMapPro Shopify app (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal authority to enter into this agreement, and accept these Terms in full. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

MetaMapPro is a Shopify application that automates the mapping of product attributes to Shopify metafields and eBay item specifics. The Service uses AI to enrich missing product data and is designed to work with Shopify's Marketplace Connect app to streamline eBay listing creation.

The Service is currently in pre-launch. Features, pricing, and availability are subject to change.

3. Shopify App Store Terms

Use of MetaMapPro as a Shopify app is also subject to the Shopify Terms of Service and the Shopify API Terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Shopify's terms, Shopify's terms take precedence with respect to your use of the Shopify platform.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring your Shopify store and product data complies with applicable laws and eBay's policies
• The accuracy of product information you provide and publish to eBay
• Maintaining the security of your Shopify account credentials
• Any content you publish to third-party marketplaces using data processed by MetaMapPro

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• List counterfeit, prohibited, or restricted items on eBay or any other marketplace
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials comprising the Service are the property of MetaMapPro and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Your product data remains your property at all times. We claim no ownership over the content you provide.

7. AI-Generated Data

MetaMapPro uses AI to suggest and enrich product data. AI-generated suggestions are provided for convenience and may not always be accurate or complete. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before publishing it to a marketplace.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MetaMapPro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100 if no fees have been paid.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
